Compassionate Employees

January 14, 2014

I just wanted to write and compliment the service of two of your employees.  On December 19th I had to have my father transported to Northside for a follow up appointment.  My father has been very ill and had to remain on the gurney the entire time.  I know that your employees had to remain with my father and I at all times because it is the rule since he was still on the gurney but they went beyond that.  Both Steve and John went out of their way to be kind and considerate during the transport, exam period and the return to my father’s room at the facility he is at.  They made conversation to help lighten the moment and to explain anything that was going on that we may not have understood.  My father is 6’6″ and they did their best to assure his comfort.  It helped me greatly to feel more at ease with them there.  I appreciate the efforts made by them to treat my father with respect.  Please be sure to congratulate them on representing your company in such a good light.  I am sure I will see them again in the future as Dad has used your service many a time.

Hubbard Fall Harvest Parade

November 14, 2013

Dear Ms. Cummins:

On behalf of the entire student population, staff and administration, I would like to express my gratitude for your participation at the Fall Harvest Parade on Thursday, October 31, 2013.

It was very reassuring to know Lifefleet was there if an emergency would have occurred.

I am always amazed at the generous amount of candy you bring to distribute to the students.  Your kindness and professionalism is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Mr. Raymond W. Soloman, Principal

An Asset to Your Team

October 9, 2013

To Whom It May Concern:

Yesterday my mother was transported by your company.  I wanted to let you know that the young lady who transported her was such a lovely young lady and extremely professional.  My mother can be difficult and challenging and Radiance was patient, gentle, and kind.  In this era, where people are quick to criticize, people who do a good job are not often recognized for the good work they do.  I wanted to make sure you knew that this particular employee is an asset to your team and I was grateful for her presence.

Thanks for Your Support

Dear Lifefleet:

Thank you for your recent donation to our 10th annual Autumnfest.  We greatly appreciate your support in making our Autumnfest so successful!

Above and Beyond the Call of Duty

September 5, 2013

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this letter to commend the actions of two of your paramedics who were called to Turning Point Counseling Services, Inc. on August 27th.  Lori Heaton and Derek Langley were called to help with a client who was unable to lift himself from a restroom stall onto his wheelchair.  This individual is a quadriplegic and totally incapable of lifting himself.  Lori and Derek continually reassured the client that they were there to help him and swiftly got him into his chair and back out into the lobby.  I was very impressed by the compassion displayed by Lori and Derek and want their supervisor to know that they acted above and beyond the call of duty and should be commended for their actions.  Thank you.

We Are Proud to Have You in Our Profession and Community

August 31, 2013

Dear Lifefleet Management:

This morning, August 27th, shortly after midnight Beaver Twp. was called to a crash involving a car vs ambulance.  The ambulance turned out to be one of yours.  A driver veered left of center, striking the ambulance head on.  Both vehicles caught fire.

The ambulance crew, despite I am sure being disoriented and shaken up after airbag deployment immediately grasped the situation and how critical it was.  They rushed to the man who had just hit them and found him unresponsive with an open compound femur fracture.  They proceeded to extricate him from the vehicle and move him to safety along a nearby building.

Upon arrival some five minutes after the call came in, I discovered your crew working to stabilize the other driver.  One of my EMS arrived at the same time and with basic equipment carried on my command vehicle, they began to stabilize the patient until my ambulance arrived.  I have no doubt that their quick action saved the life of the driver who would have surely burned to death in the vehicle.  Even if he had been conscious his severe injuries would have prevented self extrication.  The car and front of the ambulance were totally engulfed prior to any fire units arriving.

I have great respect for the two individuals who selflessly at their own risk saved a man who very nearly killed them minutes before.  Please convey a “Well Done” to both of the crew from all the members of the Beaver Township Fire Department, we are proud to have you in our profession and community.
